About me

I love the world and writing books. While my first foray is an autobiographical short story, I have written a SF novel (SophiAI – trailer here) which explores the grey areas between human and AI experiences, and the values that underpin our hurtling towards singularity. My ideal work lies in the deeper boundaries between hardcore adventure and simple things, like the meaning of life.

My debut novel, SophiAI, dives into the murky world of AI, power, and survival—set in the wilds of New Zealand, where secrets hide in plain sight.

In my spare time I study the transformations that might be wrought on protein over open flames, and enjoy the resulting burnt offerings. Oh, and my wife says I have an opinion on everything.
